Richard Eden (Jake Bannon)

Richard Eden is an Emmy nominated actor for his work on the daytime series Santa Barbara. He is also a Drama-Logue recipient and a Los Angeles Critics Nominee for playing Stanley Kowalski in the L.A. Art Theatre production of A Streetcar Named Desire and the Long Beach Studio production of The Fox.

Richard began his career starring as Mr. Sloane in the Off-Broadway hit Entertaining Mr. Sloane. He guest-starred in numerous television shows such as St. Elsewhere, Tales from the Crypt, L.A. Law and the film Other People's Money before being cast as RoboCop in Robocop the Series.

His recent credits include Woman Wanted with Holly Hunter, Crossed Over with Jennifer Jason Leigh and Diane Keaton, 10,000 Black Men Named George with Andre Braugher, Feast of All Saints directed by Peter Medak (Romeo is Dying), and Whitewash directed by Tony Bill (Five Corners).

Richard's popularity in Europe has soared due to the success of Santa Barbara and RoboCop. He received the Cine Revue Award for popularity and was invited to be a guest of honour at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.

Independent film has always been Richard's passion. His first trip to Park City, was for the Slamdance Film Festival where he co-starred in the film Blossom Time. Blossom Time went on to win the Audience Award at the Florida Film Festival. Richard followed that up with the starring role in Tear It Down opposite Glenn Plummer, Undercover Angel with James Earl Jones and Just Add Love with Wendy Malick.

The role of Jake Bannon in Call Back has been his most challenging role to date. He is excited to bring Christopher Glatis' vision to screen.
